This comprehensive level 1 course offers a gradual immersion into the French language through a series of structured and interactive lessons.
Level 1 Course Objectives
By the end of this level, learners will have laid the groundwork for a prospective mastery of the French language. The focus on pronunciation and the most frequently used words in these elementary levels allows learners to quickly understand simple statements about their environment and in turn, feel confident to speak.
The curriculum includes, among other things, basic greetings, self-introduction and introduction of others, the formulation of questions and negative answers, and the description of one's schedule. The learner goes through lessons enriched with a variety of multimedia resources, including videos, audio files, interactive exercises, and quizzes, which give rise to discussions that allow learners to develop their language skills in an engaging and effective way.
